These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) explain how Tru Comfort Home Care (“we,” “our,” “us”) provides care and support services to clients (“you,” “your”). By using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our Services
- We provide home care and support services tailored to your needs, as agreed in your individual care plan.
- Services may include personal care, companionship, domestic assistance, and other support identified during assessment.
2. Care Plan
- A care plan will be created following an initial assessment and agreed with you (or your representative).
- This plan will be reviewed regularly and updated as your needs change.
3. Cancellations and Changes
- If you wish to cancel or change scheduled care visits, please notify us as early as possible.
- We may occasionally need to adjust visit times or staff due to unforeseen circumstances, but we will always aim to keep you informed.
4. Your Responsibilities
- Ensure our staff have a safe environment in which to provide care.
- Treat our staff with dignity and respect.
- Let us know about any changes to your health, care needs, or circumstances that could affect the service we provide.
5. Confidentiality and Data Protection
- All personal and medical information will be kept secure and confidential, in line with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection laws (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
6. Complaints and Feedback
- If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please raise your concern with us directly so we can resolve it.
- If you remain dissatisfied, you may contact the Care Quality Commission (CQC) or your local authority.
7. Liability
- We will always act with reasonable care in delivering our services.
- We are not responsible for delays or issues caused by circumstances beyond our control.
- These Terms do not limit your statutory rights.
8. Ending the Agreement
- Either you or Tru Comfort Home Care may end the service agreement by giving reasonable written notice.
- We may also bring services to an immediate end where there are safety concerns or inappropriate behaviour towards staff.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of the English courts.
